All State and County Correctional Facilities determine the amount of items each inmate can receive
per package. Federal Correctional Facilities can receive a maximum of 2 to 5 items per package. BUT NO MORE THAN 5 items per package order. Please be advised that our company will only ship the maximum of 5 magazines per package order to any prison facility. If you would like to send your family member more than 5 items, then you must place separate orders that will be shipped 2 days apart.
PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU GIVE US THE CORRECT FACILITY INMATE MAILING ADDRESS
Some Correctional Facilities have a physical address and a Mailing Address. Our records only reflect the previous facilities we have shipped too so please be sure to contact the facility BEFORE placing your order if you are unsure of the package limits, what magazines titles they can or cannot receive and the correct inmate shipping location.
REJECTIONS & RETURN POLICY
A package that is rejected by a prison facility can only be returned within 7 business days of it being delivered with a mandatory rejection letter from the prison. At that time we will issue the inmate a courtesy credit minus the shipping cost and restocking fee of $2.50 per magazine returned. This courtesy credit will only be issued if the magazines are returned back to our facility in reselling condition undamaged within the 7 business days and with the mandatory rejection letter. This means if the magazines are damaged in anyway, no credit of any kind will be given. If the rejected magazines are not returned within the 7 business days allowed, no credit will be given. If the magazines are rejected and sent back with no rejection letter you have 2 options: You can pay to reship the package again or pay to re-ship the package to your home address. (All sales are final/ no refunds).
If magazines are delivered damaged in anyway you must send the magazines back to our company within 7 business days of delivery. If the damaged magazine(s) are not returned within 7 business days they will not be accepted.
We will only hold returned/ damaged/ rejected packages in our facility for 14 business days only.
During this time you have the option to contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org to make arraignments to send the proper shipping cost, to then ship the order to your home. If we are not contacted by the 15th business day of the package being returned back to our facility, the package will then be disposed of.
If magazines are delivered to you damaged in any way, the entire package must be returned to our facility within 7 business days of receiving them with the original receipt. Upon receiving the said damaged magazines back, we will review and then send you a new order if we are at fault. If the said damage magazines are not returned within 7 business days, we will not except them.
WHEN IS A PACKAGE ORDER CONSIDERED TO BE DELIVERED
When The Mag Depot ships a package to an inmate at the address you provide, we verify its destination address with the US Postal service. All packages are shipped by priority mail with tracking information included. You are also sent this same tracking information to the email you provide during online checkout. Once the US Penitentiary scans and receives package, the package is officially delivered. We partner with the USPS (United States Postal Service) on all tracking information which includes the date/time and the status of the order. All Correctional Facilities control if or when items are given to an inmate. An inmates privilege to receive packages can be revoked at any time by the Correctional Facility.
